A rollicking pantomime adaptation of the ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’.
Bringing together all the usual mayhem and hilarity of traditional panto, with Monsieur Hugo’s famous and splendidly Gothic tale of deformed hunchbacks, gypsies, thieves, alchemists and goats. And bells – lots of bells! Plus men dressed up as girls, girls dressed up as boys, just about everybody in tights and ludicrous French accents. With masses of audience participation, and plenty of opportunities to include a full helping of fabulous musical numbers.
One of the most popular melodramas of the Victorian theatre restored to its rightful place in the panto pantheon, with a generous helping of laugh-out-loud comedy.
Cast: 9M 6F with doubling possible. 6+ extras required, M or F.
Provision is made in the script for the inclusion of around ten musical numbers. More or less could be used as required.
